Pinnacle Studio project upgrade (Part 1)
This is really more of a belated post to show a pattern of behavior from Pinnacle Studios.
This is the story. i had Studio 8 and upgraded to 9. Upon opening the projects i had previously created in 8 with version 9, all the scenes with color correction came out with a blue hue. Of course at the time i didn't see what could be the issue. Studio 9 did show the scene was color corrected, i just didn't imagine how the upgrade would not have interpreted it the same way as Studio 8. Since i'm a basic user of Studio and i wasn't an early adopter of version 9, i figured the issue was already known to or had already been resolved by Pinnacle, so i logged a case with them. As you can imagine, that led to nothing. So i was on my own. Eventually if i deleted the color correction in 8 and reapplied it, everything looked as i originally intended. But what a pain. Of course no i run across this on the Pinnacle support site while researching another issue (more on that later). This KB article was published 7 months before i logged my issue. Too bad the support personnel wasn't able to link my issue with this KB. But i guess the solution was the same regardless.
